Home Modification Service levels and eligibility criteria for Home and Community Care (HACC) service users

The Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (DADHC) the administering Department of the Home and Community Care (HACC) program has released interim guidelines (May, 2007) for the operation and determination levels of service for Home Modification Services. In essence the Home Modification Services are divided into 3 levels: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. These levels are determined by the funds that may be expended on a particular job. What are the benefits of registering?

REGISTRATION IS FREE While most of the site is available for viewing without the need of registering or logging on, there are many benefits available to those who choose to register. They will be able to keep track of their past activities and searches, find people with common interests of similarly located and add them to a "buddy list" where they can easily contact them. Registered users may also subscribe to receive a quarterly newspaper, regular updates, notifications of new items and news in specific area of interest. One of the more important features of registration is the ability to submit various items in different sections of the website. General disability access and home modification publications can be submitted, as well as, case studies, forum topics, images and even videos.
