Abstract	This report is about how research has tended to concentrate on the causes of single homelessness and the characteristics of single homeless people, rather than examining the effectiveness of the services that exist to help single homeless people back into housing. This research was designed to provide detailed information on the rehousing needs of single homeless people and the effectiveness of the main services that exists to meet those needs, the homelessness services provided by local authority housing departments.

REGISTRATION IS FREE While most of the site is available for viewing without the need of registering or logging on, there are many benefits available to those who choose to register.
